About Us

Sisters of the Sacred Grove is a school and community of witchy Goddess women. Here we explore magic, exchange wisdom and skills, practice crafts, forge friendships, and share hearts.

All classes are offered free of charge. Most classes have open enrollment, and new students are welcome to join any time. We usually do not teach with schedules and allow the teachers and students to wax and wane in their participation. We feel this is conducive to the best learning and teaching. This does mean that some classes go quiet for a while (some for a few months), thought it's rarely permanent.

We welcome women who are 21 years of age and older... This is merely for legalities, and we mean no ageist offense. :)

The Sacred Grove does not represent any singular pagan or Goddess path. For example, we are not a Wiccan school, though some members are Wiccan. We are not a Druid school, though some members are Druids. We encourage each woman's heart to guide her.

Jenai May is the Grove Mum and founder. She is both a student and teacher, and manages the technical and administrative aspects of the Grove. She is a HeartWitch, tarot counselor, crystal healer, mother (of a little boy), wife, and daughter. Jenai is an accomplished Sillyhead who dislikes speaking about herself in the third person...

No one is "witchier than thou" in the Sacred Grove. We are all teachers as well as students. We do not ordain priestesses (though we do have some amongst us) nor do we grade progress.

Sometimes, we offer certificates of completion for courses (currently we offer this for Tarot). Certificates mark completion of a course and are designed to empower holders with skills which they can use within their communities. Some of the certificates can help sisters to earn a living. Again, holding a certificate does not make a sister better than anyone. It merely means she has completed a course.

We gather online for ritual (though this is not required) on solar and other sacred holidays. Our rituals are guided visualizations (think of story-time), and posted ahead of time so that solitaries may participate in spirit.
